Learning English

Learning a language is probably one of the most difficult challenges a person will ever face. During the process of acquiring English, you use different strategies to improve the different language skills. I would like you to tell me and the rest of classmates some tips or strategies that you find useful. What do you do to improve your speaking, writing, listening, reading? How do you learn grammar and vocabulary?

Activitat 2 curs Llengua + TIC

És clar que com no conec l'ús que es pot fer de les TIC a l'aula estic fent aquest curs. Per aprendre coses i poder-les fer servir a l'aula, i fora, amb el meus alumnes. Sincerament, desconec moltes coses relacionades amb aquest món, i les que conec són solament perquè me les han explicat i no per experiència pròpia.

No tinc clar si les TIC milloraran la formació dels nostres alumnes però és evident que entre d’altres coses, estan de moda, resulten atractives al nostre alumnat, són un element motivador, una eina molt útil per buscar informació -una informació que està presentada de formes diferents-, i per elaborar missatges d’una manera diferent, més creativa i estèticament més elaborada.

Potser canviï d’opinió quan acabi aquest curs, però penso que aquest ús ha de ser un complement del que fem a l’aula amb els nostres alumnes. De moment, crec que no tot hauria de ser TIC. Apart dels aspectes positius que he mencionat abans, està clar que es poden fer servir per repassar, consolidar i ampliar d’una altra forma tot allò que estem treballant a l’aula.

A més, per fer servir tot això hem de comptar amb els mitjans adequats. No tots nosaltres treballem en un institut amb els recursos necessaris per posar en pràctica tot això d’una forma més o menys periòdica. I el professorat hem d’estar formats correctament i tenir molt clares, molt pensades les activitats que volem que els nostres alumnes facin. Jo, de moment, haig d’aprendre molt i practicar encara més.
